What Does “Getting Involved” Even Look Like?
Here are real ways to get involved — no law degree, special skills, or political connections required:
So many of us feel like the system is broken. Like the people in power don’t see us, hear us, or care about what’s really happening in our communities.
But here’s the truth they don’t want you to realize:
👉🏾 You already have power. You just need to start using it.
Getting involved in your community isn’t just about running for office . It’s about showing up, speaking up, and plugging in where change is already happening — or where it needs to happen.
Use your voice. Use your feet. If you can’t march, donate. If you can’t donate, amplify. If you can’t amplify, learn and then teach someone else.
Hold Your Reps Accountable
Know your officials. Email them. Call them. Ask them how they’re voting and why.

The people in charge? They’re just people. You don’t need to know everything — you just need to care enough to act.
We don’t need more silence.
We need more you.
